The second part of season 4 of the cult Netflix series, Emily in Paris was released on the streaming platform on September 12, 2024. And this, to the great delight of fans of the series! To everyone’s surprise, those who were able to “binge-watch” the show as soon as the last episodes were released, were able to discover a new actress in the cast: Brigitte Macron, the First Lady of France. While rumors were circulating about the appearance of Emmanuel Macron’s wife in the series, it is now official and very real: Mrs. Macron steals the show alongside the star of the show: Lily Collins who plays the famous Emily.

On the occasion of his appearance on the show’s set Daily by Yann Barthès, Lily Collins confided in us about this extraordinary encounter which marked her for life: “I still have to pinch myself to make sure I didn’t dream it. Brigitte Macron invited Darren Star (director) and me a few years ago. She wanted to talk about the series to tell us how much she loves the series, how grateful she is for what it has brought to Paris. She told me that she had loved appearing in season 1, she had a great sense of humor about it. And we discussed a possible appearance on this new season.”
