On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September 2024, celebrity chef Simon Auscher will set down his knives at The Hoxton hotel in Paris for an event not to be missed.

On his CV, the chef from Nice Simon Auscher can afford to mention that he was the private chef of actresses Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley. Or that he was the one who signed the reception of the Jacquemus fashion show at the Fondation Maeght in June 2024, after having done a residency at the Cannes Film Festival… Before all that, he had already founded two restaurants in Paris, Tannat and Anna, which closed their doors when the “multi-task” chef decided to go independent. With more than one trick up his sleeve, Simon Auscher now sails here and there and the opportunities to taste his cuisine are rare. Good news for the start of the school year: the chef with 445,000 subscribers is putting down his knives for a weekend at Rivie the restaurant of The Hoxton hotel in Paris for a very special occasion.

The Hoxton Paris celebrates its 7th anniversary with chef Simon Auscher

On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September 2024, the hotel will celebrate its seventh anniversary with a “Bday Brunch” signed Simon Auscher. To the rhythm of a line-up of DJs who will be there to set the mood, this sunny brunch will be served, which will showcase the signature, graphic and colorful plates of the thirty-year-old chef. On the menu? Classics with a twist: bread, butter and pistachio spread, ginger granola, with Greek yogurt and raspberry and hibiscus coulis.

But also savoury toasts: a version with ricotta, roasted tomato, chives and smoked salt and another with tuna crudo, salsa, red cabbage tortilla or the third with avocado, poached egg, straciatella, chili crisp. Not to be missed: the croque madame reinterpreted in a chicken version spiced with nduja. Just as tempting: the veggie burger parmigiana style or the very fancy crispy rice with candied egg yolk, herb salad and caviar. The potato millefeuille with parmesan that made Simon explode on the web will also be there.

Naughty desserts and caliente cocktails

As for the desserts, they promise to be more than naughty: crispy French toast, grilled brioche ice cream, red fruit compote; tiramisu pancakes, mascarpone cream and coffee, and Basque chocolate cheesecake with crème brûlée. Our taste buds are already tingling. As for the drinks, we’ll toast the Hoxton’s 7th anniversary with a cocktail also created by the chef: the Paloma by Don Julio will showcase tequila and will be served at the table in pitchers throughout.
